11/28/08: This is lame

I was teaching my little brother how to draw hands, and Peter asked me to draw a picture of him picking his nose. So there you go.

11/27/08: Megaman

While waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner, my little brother wanted help drawing a picture of Megaman- this was my version. Zaaaaaap!

11/26/08: Shell hair things?

Aside from the giraffe-sized man neck, I think she's cool.

11/25/08: Matt attack

More facebook shenanigans.

11/25/08: Post it and Pokémon

Sketched on a post-it at work. I have this sweet life-sized Eevee doll I keep on my desk. He helps me through the day.

11/24/08: Adi Hair

This happened on facebook. Sketched with tablet.

11/23/08: Head Wings?

Oh, I dunno, some crazy, animé-mech-demon-headband thing?

11/22/08: Dragon Shinryu Figure

This is actually a sketch of my Dragon Shinryu action figure from the old Saint Seiya animé.
These are awesoem figures, btw.

11/21/08: Layered Hair

11/20/08: Majika girl at Conference

So I was at a Financial Aid Conference about a month ago and I found just today that I had drawn this on the back of a sample ISIR report.
You may remember her from the group process painting I put up here a while back. She's pretty cool.

11/19/08: Headband Girl

So the head anatomy is a little wonky (hey football head) but I think her hair is rad.

11/18/08: More curl

Inspired by a curl I saw on a Victoria's Secret model.

11/15/08: Sleeping Youth

Sketched with the tablet today. Not sure why.

Please click for full view. Hope it looks as sweet on your moniter as it does mine.

11/14/08: Lamb on head?

Okay so this is just one of those weird things, I have this stuffed lamb Peter bought me and I really wanted to draw it tied on top of a girls head. Whatever, then. I didn't really finish the sketch.

11/13/08: Lunch

I finally started reading Dragonball... I've been meaning to for a while. In any case, this is Lunch, and I fell in love with her. =) I haven't done fan art in a long time... also, hey wonky hand, I forgot to go back and fix it. I know Toriyama puts the pupils on the inside of the eyes but hey, my way.

11/12/08: Yes we did #2

Copied from the November 5, 2008 Washington Examiner Cover.
I don't like this one as much as the last. Damn he has nice teeth.

11/11/08: Guest Strip 1: Kori is Sick

My boyfriend drew this very flattering picture of me while I was dying of a 24 hour cold.

11/10/08: Yes we did.

Copied from the cover of the November 5, 2008 Público.
I hope to do drawings of many November 5th newspaper covers featuring Obama.

11/09/08: Awesome!

This one's kinda like "YAHOO!"

11/08/08: Star Vest; Movie Star?

So last night I was working at an art auction and totally stood next to Glenn Close. We were both hovering as the caterers put the cookies on the dessert table.

I sketched this during a lull between check outs; one of the patrons had a rocking sweater vest.

11/07/08: Stern she is again, making a very different face.

11/06/08: OOOOh!

I decided I needed to seriously expand my portraiture vocabulary. I.E., stop drawing the same face out of my head over and over. So, here's an old lady named Joanna Ross. More old ladies are to come.

11/05/08: Feathers in her Hat

Saw a girl with two white feathers sticking out of a plain brown winter cap.

Also: Obama. Awesome.

11/03/08: JK Ink 01

Traced from a photograph. Me n' Jiggity JShea.

Also, if you are an American and you don't go vote tomorrow I will be very disappointed in you.

11/02/08: Stormy Kromer

I almost bought a pink Stormy Kromer hat at L.L.Bean today, but then I didn't. Anyway. Those big plaid flaps are definitely not part of a real SK hat, but if I could combine a bomber and an SK I would and that's what it would be.

11/01/08: GB Stockings

Stockings inspired by some George Barbier paintings. Imagine they're all one piece. Cool, huh?
